About

William van den Heuvel is a pioneer in computer software. He wrote his first program in 1968 at a time when computers had no display screens and no hard disks. In those days, punch cards and magnetic tapes were the only media for storing data as well as for the programs themselves. Those were the days when IBM dominated the computer market.

Meanwhile, William has more than 40 years experience in writing and designing computer software.  From 1968 to 2001, William was a System/Software programmer on IBM Mainframe Computers. He wrote primarily highly specialized software in Assembler language. From 2001 to 2005, William turned to writing enterprise software in Java. And since 2005, specialized on the Microsoft .NET platform. Go to Résumé for details.
